A Hot Summer Day ~ Saturday June 28, 2008
REMEMBER TO SCROLL DOWN TO SEE ADDITIONS & PHOTOGRAPHS TO THE OTHER POSTS
I’m posting quickly in between arrivals this morning. It is hot out, the humidity is high and the dogs are actually being smart and staying in the air conditioning. Once all the new dogs arrive and they settle in I will try to get some photographs.
We are welcoming new clients the Gehringer’s with Tim and Toby and welcoming back The Paterno’s with their new Labrador Retriever Charlie and also The Riegel’s with their Mixed breed Bear. Photographs to follow, I promise.
I am off now to see what Bob is up to. When last seen he was on the roof of the house running telephone wire since the underground wire was hit by lightening last year. Once done, the Visa, MasterCard and Discover machine should work in the kennel building. My fingers are crossed.
More later…..
Here are a few photographs I snapped. It is really too hot and humid to make the dogs do much right now. I am glad they are staying in where it is cool.
Evening Update
The new arrivals have all settled in nicely. Some have aleady mastered the use of the dog door which is nice, since we are running the air conditioning. We had a brief thunderstorms which prior to cooled things off but once the shower passed the repulsive humidity and heat returned. Dogs are fed and quiet for right now. I will check in with them later, give bedtime cookies and hugs.
Lexi Steitz, your babies Zuke and Zoe send their love. They are fine, eating well and going in and out.
Have a great Saturday night.
