Evening Update 8:16 PM

Photobucket

Evening all, what a hot day it was here. We had a passing thunder storm which did nothing to cool things off. I had wanted to get photographs outside but it was way too hot this afternoon to be playing with a new camera. I did however snap a few which are in the slideshow below. It is going to take me a few days to learn how to use this camera correctly.
I got all the dogs fed in between the raindops and plan on going back outside later tonight for hugs and biscuits.
All the kittens are back to normal, all eating really well again and jumping around. I will try and get pictures of them tomorrow sometime.
We have more new clients and campers arriving tomorrow and very much look forward to meeting them all. McQuire the German Shepherd is returning, he’s such a good dog and we enjoy having him here.
I wish you all a great night, enjoy my first attempt at photographs with the new camera.

Afternoon Update 12:21 PM

It’s a super hot one out there. I just came in from checking on the dogs. All are inside in the air conditioning relaxing.
Guess what.. Bob surprised me with a new camera Photobucket kind of looks like that one but a newer model. The battery is charging and hopefully I will be able to get some photographs later on today. Learning how to operate it will be fun.
Going to chill for a little bit, I’ll update later…

Get your sunglasses out everyone you will need them today. I just came in from the kennel, all the dogs had their breakfast and morning hugs. I got the Bernese Mountain Dogs and Flat Coat Retrievers out as it will be too hot later to be running those coated dogs. It is sticky and you can tell it is going to be HOT HOT HOT. Remember, during days when the temps are this high leave your dog at home, the heat in a car can kill fast. If they are kept outside make sure they have good shelter from the sun, a shaded area and plenty of fresh water.
I am looking forward to all the new clients and campers arriving this weekend. Hopefully, I can get a new box of discs today for the camera and they will work. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
I am heading back out to the kennel. Have a great day and stay cool!
