Evening Update 10:13 PM

Photobucket

I was sitting out on the porch tonight looking out at the beautiful moon lite night. I thought I’d share a photograph of what I was looking at. Taking the line from the movie Moonstruck the “Bella Luna”. It is so peaceful out there.
I am heading out shortly to lock up the kennel for the night, give out biscuits and hugs. Tomorrow is suppose to be extremely hot, 105 heat index. I heard the weather channel say so I may not get dogs out unless I feel it is safe. Love, belly rubs, hugs and kisses will be given indoors if necessary.
I wish you all a pleasant evening. I’ll report tomorrow.

Afternoon Update 2:50 PM

I’ve been out in the kennel the better part of the morning and early afternoon cleaning kennel runs from all the dogs that left us this morning. All of The Bremmer/Bednar show dogs left and are on their way to dogs show out in western Pennsylvania. Good luck guys!
We welcomed Reese the Black Labrador Retriever and Remi the Yellow Labrador Retriever. Reese is a typical Labrador.. she saw the water bucket and said play time, there was water everywhere. Needless to say her water bucket has been moved to her outside kennel run. She was also playing with the water from the hose. All so much fun if you are a Labrador Retriever.
I am still learning to use the camera so have patience for a week or so, my skills will get better.
I will update more later.

Well we made it through another work week and are heading into the weekend. The weekends for us are our busiest times. We have three canines arriving today, two new campers both Labrador Retrievers and then McQuire a German Shepherd.
As soon as I stepped out the front door this morning I knew we were in for a muggy, sticky . day. The weather report last night said temps in the upper 90’s, heat indexs around 105 degrees. I will be keeping a close watch on all the dogs, especially the coated breeds. The building is air conditioned but we do get those dogs that still like being outside.
I messed around with the new camera last night and snapped a few pictures of the felines. Tidbit, Feather, LacyLou, Cheetah and Sporty.

I’ll update later… have a great morning.
