The Otter Princess

The “Otter Princess” is now complete and on the road. This has been a long time coming. From the start there were issues with the paint that was shipped to Bob. Once I painted all the graphics it was time to clear coat again. Bob completed all that, now to assembly. What many of you don’t know is that the tins which I painted came off of a 1997 Harley Davidson Sportster the bike Bob turned into his chopper. We thought all the tins would fit my bike as it is a 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster… WRONG. Needless to say the rear fender didn’t fit. Now keep in mind the tank went on fine as well as the front fender. The rear fender had some differences, the tailight assemably was totally different as well as the wiring. We had to order a new rear fender, it arrived, Bob laid the paint down and I decided on new rear graphics. I painted the River Otter on the rear fender and I adore it. Last week Bob clear coated it and assemby took place yesterday. Nothing ever goes easy and there were some issues which are now resolved and it is complete. Look for the Otter Princess on the road…..
