Bedtime
The BBQ sauce came out great. Bob said it wasn’t hot enough, but it was for me.
I am heading out to lock up the kennel, the dogs are waiting for their biscuits and hugs. Em and Mollie will be back again tomorrow. We always look forward to having them.
Have a great night, sweet dreams

Good morning everyone. It’s a cool, breezy morning here and today I woke all the pooches. All the dogs had their warm breakfast. The Border Terriers enjoy their meals with a tad of hot water added to their kibble. It keeps them all toasty inside.
Today I walk the girls again Truffles and Peppercorn. Yesterday the wind was blowing so hard Truffes didn’t really want to walk but we walked anyway.
Last night Bob and I made homemade barbeque sauce, wow is it hot. Bob says nahhhhh but heck I felt the after burn. Tonight we are having BBQ chicken on the grill so we’ll see how hot it really is.
I am heading out for now, have a great fall day, I’ll post later.

Tina, homemade BBQ sauce is easy and a matter of taste. What I use is Heinz ketchup(a whole big bottle), brown sugar, white sugar, lemon juice, dried ground chipolte peppers, honey and apple cider vinegar. The amounts I use I can’t tell you because I just add it all together. I go by taste. I keep tasting it to make sure it is sweet enough and has a bite. Bob likes it smokey so we use the chopolte peppers but you can use regular hot peppers or tabasco sauce. I bring it to a boil, stirring constantly, then simmer until it gets thick. It can burn easily so keep stirring. I use it also for my base for baked beans.
