It’s a cold, sunny Saturday. We have tons of stuff to accomplish today so I will be short. I hope you all enjoy you day. For those riding today, bundle up well and ride safe. Be back later.
Meet Tafari

Tafari..”he who inspires” an African name. I had always wanted a Congo African Grey because I wanted a bird that could talk well and was highly intellegent. The Grey’s are not the most colorful birds, they come in two varieties the Congo and Timnah both have red tail feathers. I did a great deal of research and found a breeder fairly local. I called and she had hatched out a clutch of eggs just three weeks prior and none were spoken for. To make a long story short Bob and I went to see these babies several times before making our choice. I chose Tafari as there was something special about him, he inspired me to take him. I took him at a very young age, he was still being hand fed several times a day. I would say within three months he said his first words, from a simple hello to full sentences now. He can talk in two voices, speaks fluently and can even sing. He tells the other birds off if they are screaming and he knows exactly which bird is yelling. He waits for Bob or I sometimes to complete his whistles or sentences. He is the most amazing bird and is my baby. Once he is in my arms don’t try taking him from me or you’ll be bitten. He loves me so much he tries to feed me. He is one bird I would never give up.
