(Vervet Monkey and what appears to be a young Kangaroo or Wallaby) Photographer Unknown
This morning was a tough one for me,I did not sleep good at all. Not sure why or what the reason was but my neck just bothered me and kept me awake.
I was up and out as early as my body allowed me to move. I knew Sully was leaving first thing so I fed quickly, cleaned the outside kennel runs and was just starting to mop when I heard the door. They came to pick up Sully, who I will miss because he listens to me so very well. Once Sully left us it was back to mopping floors and cleaning things up. I set the dinner dishes up and am ready to feed for tonight. Weather providing and depending on how I feel I might get the dogs out in the exercise yard today. I need to take a closer look at the grass and slick conditions. If not the catch pen area gives them a nice run to stretch as well.
The past few days I’ve heard from some people who own and love dogs that Bob & I bred over the years. I featured Sagan from our last Borzoi litter the other day. Today I will feature Dottie a.k.a. Dottie Doodles. She’s better know to us as Hound Hollow Chances Are, whelped on October 16, 1994. That litter like most of our litters had a theme which was songs thus her name. She aquired the name Dottie because she was almost all white with the exception of a dot here and there. Dottie has one litter sister still living, who is Hound Hollow A Piece of Sky “Yentl”. Dawn and Jr were kind enough to send me the two photographs below. Thank you both for giving her the love and home she needed. Treasure each day with her and make sure she gets a few extra hugs from her original human mom, me.

I wish you all a great start to the week.
Hi Missy
Thanks for putting Dottie on your blog. The “Princess” picture was taken on her birthday in 2007. I’ll give her a hug for you. She’s curled up beside me on the sofa now next to her greyhound sister, Lulu. Take care!
