Good morning, the sun is out and it honstly it isn’t that cold out. I fed the dogs their breakfast, cleaned up outside, mopped a few floors, changed bedding you all know the usual daily morning routine. There is still a huge build up of ice right outside the kennel run gates. Each time we throw water down and squeegy it off it sits there and just continues to refreeze. It’s gotten to the point I really hold on tight when opening gates to get in and out. I hopefully, providing things look safe, can get dogs out in the exercise area today if not there in the catch pen area for sure.
We had a new visitor yesterday, welcome who came to see our kennel and we look forward to seeing Nimey in May. Nimey is a Puggle, very cute and we’re glad he’ll be staying here with us.
Just a reminder Memorial Day week/weekend will be here before you know it. If you are planning to travel that week give a call now as reservations will fill rather quickly for that time frame. Also, on the same note for July 4th week/weekend. July 4th is a Saturday this year so I know many of you will need some days before the 4th and some after. Get your reservations in early, please.
