I just got home from the surgeon and the news was not what I wanted to hear. The long and short of it is the plate and one screw plus the vertabrae above seem to have shifted. I go tomorrow for a CAT scan and see the surgeon again on Tuesday. A decision to go in and correct it will be made at that time. Until then I am in this collar from hell to keep the pressure off my esophagus, since that is where I feel the pressure like something is stuck in my throat.
To say I am disappointed is a understatement.

What a crazy morning. I went outside it was sleeting, little round balls of sleet. As I head to the kennel it stopped. I fed the dogs breakfast, started to scoop as I always do and it started to pour rain, strange. I come back into the kennel and I hear on the radio tempertures are going to rise into the 50’s. With the kennel clean, I open the front door to lock up and it is sleeting once again, this is very strange weather.
I go for my x-rays today and I also see the surgeon. Hopefully he can answer a few questions I have and send me on my way, back to the gym. That is what I want more then anything. Driving well….. shhhh been driving the past week or so.
Bob will be home, so as soon as I get back, I can fill you in.
