Morning all. What a nice sun shiny day to wake up to. Bob actually was up before me this morning but I have a good excuse for sleeping in. We both went to bed about the same time… ok, maybe I went a hour after he did which is typical. I was warm so I opened my bathroom window and laid down. I was almost asleep and I heard all this barking. I thought oh something is outside it sounds like an alarm bark. I thought oh maybe deer, possum something bothering them in the kennel. So I stood at the window and realized it wasn’t coming from the kennel but the road. So I get clothes back on, put my glasses on so I can see and go outside. I begin to listen and walk towards the barking sound. Here I was, after 12:30 AM total darkness, no flashlight and walking almost up to the top of our very long driveway and it stopped. Here someone across the highway must have let the dog out to potty or something and let the dog back in because I heard a person talking to the dog. The air was very clear last night so I did hear a person talking. Outcome, the dog was fine but what if…. and this is why I went out to research and check into the situation. You never know, better to be safe, then sorry.
The dogs all had breakfast and things are all clean. Bob pressure washed for me and empied all the poopy buckets for me too. We are all fresh and clean for the coming week. It is really warm out and I am going to wait until the yard has shade before letting dogs out. Also the neighbor is burning and it stinks so I am going to wait.
The next few days I am going to feature some photographs my girlfriend Lee took at the Philadelphia Flower Show back in Januray I believe. I hope you like them as much as I did.
