Good morning. It’s a ugly start to the day, overcast. misty out, dreary you know the kind of day you rather just spend doing nothing.
As you can see by the slideshow above I have already been out to the kennel, feed breakfast to all the dogs and cleaned up. The grass is still way to wet to let dogs out. I’ll decide later this afternoon if it is safe enough to let them out. Running dogs and wet grass are not a good combination. Nimmy the Pugle is a smiling fool, just look at his little face in those pictures. His butt jiggles too which to me says I’m a happy pooch. Eli, the Cocker Spaniel is very laid back, a very relaxed dog. Then there is Snapple the old girl who sort of is in a zone of her own and I’m not sure what that zone is. The three Borzoi and Whippet do what typical sighthounds do when they get older, warm the couch, floors, porch whatever. They just lay around like a throw rugs. As you can see they could care less that I was there snapping picturs of them.
Bob is out on the tractor manuring the courtyard and with all the rain we’ve had it is a muddy mess. I did snap some pictures of Zane running in the pasture but I’ll save them for tomorrow. I also took a few pictures of the plants I put in last Saturday and how nice they look already.
The laundry buzzer just went off. It’s time to fold clothes and get another load of laundry in because I have dog towels waiting to get done as well.
Have a great day.

Hey Guys, hope you are enjoying yur vacation. Nimmey is just fine. Wow, Marlana you were right he can bark. That barking is the Beagle coming out of him. He’s been going in and out of the dog door with it opened a small amount and seems to be happy and content. Sadly, with the rain yesterday and overnight storms I doubt any dogs will get out in the yard with the water still lying there. Try to enjoy your vacation. Hugs sent from Nimmey.
