Good morning to everyone. Before I start I need to send a HUGE THANKS to Barb from both the Fitness Plaza Gym and the Owner Handlers Assoc. for giving me the judging assignment yesterday. It was a blustry cold day, but the turn out of dogs and people was excellent. I had a handful of both Terriers and Hounds. My junior shomanship ring had both young and older youths that will ensure this sport of showing dogs will be sound for the years to come. Above are just a few pictures I snapped when I first arrived. I wasn’t able to take pictures during because I was judging Best Adult and felt looking at some of the other dogs which could end up in my line up was unfair. I put up a lovely Newfoundland bitch who was just 14 months old. Congrats to all that took their breeds, group placements, and Best Puppy and Adult in Match.

I’ve been out to the kennel on this crisp morning and got all the dogs fed. The runs were all cleaned and hugs and biscuits were given out. We had so much rain Saturday night it looks like the exercise yard needs to be mowed once again. It is still pretty sloppy out there, I checked it. Sadly, it is a low point on the property and when we have that kind of heavy rain we need a few good hot days to dry it up. I will most likely get dogs out in the catch pen area today if I feel it is still too slick in the exercise yard.
We have many new canines arriving this week so that will be exciting.
I wish you all a great day I am off to struggle with my physical therapy, thrills! See ya….
