Morning everyone. It seems the rains have returned, in full force. It started last night and it hasn’t stopped here. When I headed outside, the skies opened up even more. The mud in the coutyard is horrible. Zane didn’t want to even come out from his stall to eat(he did)it was coming down so hard. I ran into the kennel to find the majority of dogs still curled up. I think they too are sick of the rain. All of them had a nice warm breakfast I prepared since it’s so nasty out and everyone woofed breakfast down. Goodness knows I was out in the rain pressure washing kennel runs because it still needs to be done. I gave the floors a quick sweep and didn’t mop since it was so damp and I wanted the dogs in a completely dry area. Love, hugs and small treats were given out. There will be more of that later today. I can clearly say the dogs will not be getting out into the yard today.
We have Dakota and Lexi arriving this afternoon. We look forward to seeing them both.

Mom and Karen, lets try and make a day(during the week) we can visit the zoo. How much fun would that be. Bag our lunch,take some bottled water, put on the sneakers with comfy clothes, take the sunscreen and go. We’d all have so much fun. I have to pick a day Bob could get off work so he could manage the kennel for me. I think the more people the merrier so if anyone reading this blog would like to go and see the 150th Celebration at the Philadelphia Zoo, let me know.

I am now off to torture myself at the gym, doing my physical therapy today for my neck. I’m not sure it is helping me, but I go as the doctor told me to. Try and have a good day, take the umbrella, you’ll need it.
