Special Happy Birthday wishes to Karen, another special friend from the gym. Karen, I wish you the very best today and always. Enjoy your special day.

Here are some photographs from today, all unedited. I’ll get the others uploaded and on a slideshow over the weekend. As you can see the exercise yard is soaking wet. Lexi had a blast running through the puddles of water. I let the other dogs out into the catch pen area as there was just too much standing water. Hope you enjoy seeing the dogs.

Good morning. The rains came down in full force again last evening. When is this rain going to end. The sun is out at the moment but rain is still being called for all weekend.
The new arrivials from last night all settled in nicely. Dakota the Lhasa Poo I think is in love with his new neighbor, Lexie the Weimeraner. I’ll get the pictures posted later today. He was wagging his tail, being all sassy and showing off. It was really quite cute to see. Lexie, is wonderful and I might say very, very well trained. Her owner tells me she is a registered therapy dog in New Jersey where they live. It is a joy to have such a well balanced and behaved Weimernaner here with us. This morning we welcome back Chamois and later today Charlie, both are Yellow Labrador Retrievers. The dogs finished their breakfast in a snap. I mopped, swept and pressure washed the outside runs. I did get a few of the smaller dogs out in the catch pen area before I fed. I will let the larger breeds out once their food settles.
I wish you all a great weekend. Look for the updates later in the day today. Wooohooooo TGIF!!
This is a Hammerkop, one of the rare breed of birds at the Philadelphia Zoo
