I am back from the surgeon and I got the best news possible. I don’t need to go back now until late September and……. I can ride my motorcycle again wooohooooooo and……. go back to the gym full time. He said yes there will be limitations, yes I am still in the healing process but I am fused finally. The x-rays looked great. Bob was with me so he heard everything the doctor said.

The slideshow below features Hammer the Mastiff and Polka Dot the Smooth Dachshund. This is one “odd couple” so to speak but they are from the same household and seem to get along. Their owner says Hammer is a gentle giant which he is and Polka Dot is the rowdy one. The battery on the camera was low, so I have it on the charger as I type. All the other dogs got out as well. It is getting warm out so they are all in relaxing in the air conditioning.

Good morning. It’s a typical morning here on the farm and at the kennel. The sun is drifting in and out and the temps today are suppose to hit the upper 80’s, possibly 90. We go from one extreme to another.
The dogs were all out, had their breakfast, floors swept and runs pressure washed. I forgot to take the camera out there this morning so I will get pictures up later today. The exercise yard might be dry enough to mow finally. I hope Bob gets to that today sometime. We welcomed Hammer the Mastiff and Polka Dot the Smooth Daschund late afternoon yesterday. All I can say is wait until you see this combination. Talk about extremes, you’ll see when I get the pictures posted. Neva wanted to play this morning. She was so cute running up and back. She had her front legs down as if she was stretching and her bum in the air barking little barks at me to play with her. Hemi, just stood and wagged his little tail. Lexi also was in a playful mood. Maybe they love the sunshine, who knows.
I am off to see the surgeon this morning, wish me luck. I have to go an hour early to have x-rays done. Bob’s in charge while I am gone. I hope you all have a wonderful, bright sunny day. Look for an update later this afternoon.
