WOW, what a night. We had severe thunderstroms rip through the hollow last evening. It poured so hard you could not even see the driveway. I heard there was a tornado in the Pocono’s which tells you just how bad the weather was. The forecast says we could get even more rain today, although right now there is some sun peeking through.
The dogs all faired well during the storm, none of them really seemed too upset. They all ate their breakfast this morning and had their runs swept and some mopped. Outside the runs had so many leaves from the black walnut tree but I pressure washed them all away. As you might imagine the exercise yard is flooded, nothing new here. The dogs will get out into the catch pen area while that water receeds back down. We are welcoming several new dogs today and I’ll be sure to snap some pictures for you later today after they arrive.
