Good morning everyone. It’s a hot one already. I know without a doubt the dogs will be staying in the air conditioning in this extreme heat. I had four of them out early this morning and even then it was too warm and humid. They all ate their breakfast and had their runs pressure washed. Later this morning we are expecting Denise Chapman’s two Borzoi for a few days. We look forward to having them. It’s alwasys nice to have the breed you once showed come and stay with you. The Borzoi will always hold a special place in my heart.
Yesterday was corn picking day and I blanced, cut the corn off the cobs and bagged about 25lbs of corn from our garden. Once I got ours complete and in the freezer, I helped Studdy with his families 100 plus ears. What a job. Today, I think will be tomato picking day which means for me later… sauce. We’ll see how that works out. At least I know our food is all organic and free of pestisides. The birds are loving the cantolopes we picked. They are very sweet and juicy.
