Morning all. It is another muggy, humid start to the day. It is so thick outside you can just cut it with a knife. You can see the actual mist in the air. The weather report once again is calling for heavy rains throughout the day. What a wash as far as getting dogs out this week, geeze. The yard has gone down from running water to just water logged. When you walk out there the residual water still comes to the surface, not safe to allow dogs out to run. If it doesn’t rain I am going to try to let them into the catch pen area on stone.
Breakfast was fed, runs mopped, and pressure washed. Nothing wants to dry it is so humid. I have extra fans running in hopes it will help take some of the humidity out of the air.
Last night as I thought Bob canned(with my help) all the hot peppers that came off the plants from the storms. You can see in the slide we stuff the jars, make the brine, add it to the jars, cover and process. It is not difficult once you learn the ropes. We still have tomatoes to do, thrills.
I’m glad the weekend is almost here. It seems to have been a very long week for me personally. I hope you all can enjoy your Saturday and Sunday even if it does rain. See you.
