Good morning everyone. It looks like it might rain out there at some point. I am heading out shortly to take the Princess to be inspected. Our friend Greg is following me out on his bike and I’ll ride home with him. I hopefully will have my bike back by Saturday.
I was already out to the kennel, fed all the dogs and had very little clean up this morning. I really scrubbed yesterday. I pulled the heavy mats out, did all the walls and things stayed really clean. I was a happy camper.
Today I might have to start canning the tomatoes. I’m not sure what I’ll be making, I had sauce, salsa, and ketchup in mind, but we’ll see. When I went up to the garden yesterday I saw the eggplant and brussel sprouts will be coming in shortly as well. There are still many, many watermelons and cantaloupes too. The squash I think will be in later in September. I do hope after all the vegetables get in the freezer there is still room for some bulk meats, fish and seafood. Winter is on the way and I make sure our freezers are filled.
