Good morning to you all. It is a really crisp fall morning. Wow I am not used to the cooler tempertures yet. Not only are the leaves falling from the Black Walnut trees now the nuts of falling. When the wind blows you have to be careful because it is like baseballs falling from the sky.
The dogs all had breakfast, their runs mopped and outside pressure washed. Now that all the dogs went home except for a few, it seems so empty and quiet. This won’t last there are more arriving this week. Once the exercise yard dries off from the morning dew, I’ll get dogs out.
Much to my surprise yesterday, we found a tiny kitten sleeping right beside the hot tub in the sun. Considering we spayed and neutered all the cats here, we have no idea where or who it came from unless there is a feral queen sneaking about here once again. Between Bob, Studdy and myself we were able to catch it. I beleive it is a male, but it is so frightened I didn’t want to mess with it too much. I have calls into several rescues to see if anyone would be interested in fostering this kitten. If anyone reading this would like to foster it, please call me. It isn’t mean or nasty just very scared. It is eating solid and canned food. It also used the litter box I put into the crate. In the next few days I will find out the sex and choose a cute name. It is a semi longhaired kitten, very cute and fuzzy, white and brownish grey stripped tabby colored about 8-9 weeks old. It you have a cute name that can be used for either male or female let me know in the comment section. I’ll try and take some pictures later today. I will need Bob’s assistance for that.
