Good morning, can you believe that today is the last day of September. Where did this month go? It was a chilly night last evening and I made sure the kitten and dogs were all warm before turning in myself.
I guess waking up in the dark is becoming more familiar but the cold brrrr I am not used to it yet. The dogs were all fed, floors mopped and kennel runs pressure washed. Rufus the Poodle leaves us later this morning. He has done well even though he hs been wearing the towel which acts as a cervical collar around his neck. It hasn’t stopped him from acting normal, that’s for sure.
The “Solo” kitten is coming along nicely. She doesn’t hiss or act scared any longer. That certainly didn’t take long. She’s a ball of fuzz and so tiny. She eats like a horse and uses the litter box for sure. She likes to lick your hand as you pet her. I do hope a loving family comes along and takes her into their lives soon.
That’s it from here. I am off to drink a cup of coffee and get the day really rolling.
