Smile everyone it’s Friday and the weekend is almost here. We just need to get through this workday and woooohoo weekend time. I am not sure it will be the greatest weekend I believe I heard rain was in the forecast. If nothing else I can catch up on some things inside.
It was another crisp night, we have the heat on in the kennel so the dogs are warm, no worries there. Of course with all the birds the heat is running in the house as well.
The dogs all had a warm breakfast, it was gobbled down in seconds, even the Borzoi are back to eating regularly. In the summer they pick at their food. The dogs stayed cleaned from when I mopped etc late yesterday so this mornings routine went by quickly.
Solo, is learning that people are not such a bad thing. She’s precious, but aren’t all babies. I see the curiosity in her eyes as she gazes around.

Yesterday afternoon we had a visit from a huge Turkey Vulture so I snapped a few pictures. They are carion eaters and with a dead groundhog lying out there, it had a meal. I was fasinated to sit and watch out the back window. Their wing span is awesome.
