First things first… to my husband Bob
Wow, how did we ever make it 20 years? I love you, always.
Now that that is out of the way, good morning everyone. it’s warm out about 62 degrees here, amazing after yesterday’s nasty rain and cold. I woke the dogs again this morning, fed breakfast, set up for T.J. the Yorkshire Terrier who was arriving first thing, then mopped and pressure washed. I will be spending time inside with the dogs today unless things dry out a little bit. It is really wet here. I will try and take pictures. I have to charge the battery on the camera.
Solo, is doing well, getting bigger finally. I think she had a tough start to life and so it will take her awhile to catch up.
Thanks Charlene for your comments, we love having a large garden and getting the benefits from it. Yesterday, I made Butternut Squash soup using the squash, sweet potatoes, celery, onions and carrots ALL from the garden. It’s nice knowing that all that went into the ground was manure, no sprays or chemicals. You must share some of your hot peppers recipes. We have so many peppers I am not sure what to do with them anymore. I’ve dried tons and have canned probably around 20 jars and will be canning more today. I still have the Jamaican Scotch Bonnets to pick and that will be the end of it for this year. All suggestions are welcome. Birdie sends hugs and kisses to her litter brother Baxter.
I am off to grab another cup of coffee. Have a wonderful Saturday.
