Good morning, the hunters are already out and the deer are flying in the woods behind the house. I heard one shot, looked out the kennel window and there stood 6 does. I didn’t stay and watch too long as the dogs wanted their breakfast. I fed them all breakfast, cleaned up a bit and checked outside again and they were heading back into the woods.
This is going to be a very busy week for me. I plan on trapping cats this week and hopefully I’ll get lucky. Over the weekend I released the little male and female. I haven’t seen either one since their release.
I am off to have some breakfast before Champ’s mom gets here to take him home. Have a great day and beware of the deer moving and the hunters that follow.
