Morning all, I’m personally feeling a little green this morning so bare with me. We had dinner out last night and something didn’t agree with me and it was only a salad. Who knows.
I’ve been out to the kennel. I woke the kids this morning it was so quiet, then one of the dogs realized I was in there and all the barking started. I fed them all and it was quiet once again. With the concrete above freezing, I attempted to use buckets of hot sudsy water to clean the outside runs. If the temps stay warm maybe I can drag the pressure washer out and really have at things. Winter stinks in that respect..cold temps,cold concrete, water, turns into ice skating rinks for the dogs, NOT SAFE. Even when you squeegee the runs dry it still can get slick. I plan on getting dogs out in an hour or so.
A great topic was given to me by Denise who goes to the same gym as I do. I was speaking with her yesterday about bringing her new puppy home. I am going to cover some topics about traveling with your new puppy. Other topics will be about feeding and the outcome of feeding poo. Some people don’t realize truly what their dogs need from dog food and what type of food to purchase. I will try and address these issues from a BREEDERS stand point. Veterinarians often have different views and I respect that totally but as breeders we deal with it on a more regular basis. I will give you some things that have worked for me over the last 25+ years breeding dogs.
