Good morning all, we’ll as you can see Yella gave birth this morning to a stunning colt. Yella and this beautiful baby belong to my friend Kathy and her husband Mike. Congrats to them on their new addition. I’ve been up now for almost 50 hours just waiting for these two mares to foal. I am still waiting for ShyAnn to foal, she is overdue. All these sleepless night should pay off soon.
I’ve been out to the kennel and fed. Last evening we welcomed Gates the Labrador Retriever. He is a seeing eye dog prospect and is being trained by old time clients The Glick’s. They have successfully trained 4 other seeing eye dogs all placed in homes. I wish them much success with Gates as well. I let Gates out this morning in the catch pen area and wow was he full of energy. I will get him out again later this afternoon. The kennel got vacuumed and outside runs pressure washed. I wish the exercise yard was dry so the dogs could get out there but it still has puddles from all the rain. I guess I’ll use the catch pen area once again today. The sun is shining so hopefully things will begin to dry out.
