(Bedtime)

Just a quick update… first I received a call from Kathy saying she sold one of the Corgi puppies. The male on the right in both photos is still available.
Now to the dogs.. the heat was totally overwhelming for me today. I couldn’t stay out in it for very long so I spent time inside with each and every dog. I’m sorry I felt if I couldn’t tolerate the heat, how would all these black Labradors tolerate it. I am heading outside now to start letting them out one by one in the catch pen area so they can stretch before bedtime. We’ve had some heat lightening and thunder but no rain as of yet. Maybe tomorrow the temperatures will be better.
I will give each dog a cookie and a hug, no cookies for Dakota just a carrot and his hugs. Have a great nice and please stay cool.

Good morning everyone. Let me first tell you about the photo above. These Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies are for sale. Their breeder Kathy, is a friend of mine who lives in Ill. These are companion dogs, have been vetted, wormed, vaccinated and are ready for a new home. Additional information on these puppies can be found at Whistleville Farm

Now for the dogs here at the Inn. They all were out to potty, had their breakfast and kennel runs cleaned. It is 10:35 AM and already 90 degrees.
I have made the decision to keep the dogs in because it is too hot to allow them to run in this kind of heat. There is no shade right now and it is not worth letting all the Black Labs and the other dogs get overheated. If the shade cover seems to cool the play yard off enough, I will get them out. If not, tonight when the temperatures are more reasonable, I will let them out to play and stretch. Right now, I think they are all content to stay in the air conditioning where it is very cool.
I must run I am expecting Riley the Labrador Bloodhound to be arriving shortly. Stay cool!
