Morning all. it just after 6 AM and I’m heading out to the kennel to feed and get dogs out before the heavy rains come down. It’s spritzing at the moment.
I found out some disturbing news late last night and I am passing it along. A dog attending a puppy training class at a local big pet food chain store, came down with kennel cough.We boarded the next door neighbor’s dog and those dogs played together at their homes. This was from one of the local Pet places many of you may shop for dog food, toys etc. We are doing our best here to make sure things remain clean and that all dogs entering our kennel have been vaccinated for Bordetella. This is something that sadly humans can carry and so we don’t know if dogs here are exposed or not. Just know we are taking extreme precautions.You know it’s like a common cold, one person gets it and some others might or might not get it so you never know. I’ll post more when I find more out.
