Good morning all, its the last day of July and I am wondering where it has gone. Before we know it Labor Day will be here, the kids will be back to school, Halloween will come and go and then Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here, just amazing.
Here is my update, I couldn’t stand the pain I was having with my knee so I made the trip to the doctor yesterday early afternoon. I could tell just by my doctor’s face, this couldn’t be good. After she examined my knee she told me there was fluid and severe inflammatory bursitis, ugh just what I didn’t want to hear. She took fluid out and put medication in, talk about being painful. I am suppose to keep ice on the knee as much as I can, keep it elevated and of course stay off it. With doctor’s orders in hand, I came home and broke the news to Bob. He knew he would have to take over my main duties which he has done.
Yesterday morning I had help from our friend Studdy aka Shawn. He assisted me with all the arriving dogs and then some. In the afternoon once the injection meds wore off Bob was there to help welcome Tito. We both fed dogs, and then he did all my work for me. He’s such a good guy. Now the rest of the weekend he’ll take the helm where I am unable. The dogs will get the same care as I give. I will make sure the dogs get out and have fun. Me being injured will have no affect on the dogs. It may take Bob a little longer to get things done but they will get done. I hope you all understand and bare with us this weekend. Hopefully, I’ll get some relief in the next 24 hours.
I am off to sit, watch and help in anyway I can. Have a great Saturday.
