Good evening everyone. This morning I had to get to the eye doctor early to have the pads on my glasses changed and I completely forgot to post, oops. I got busy and plum forgot.
The dogs are all wonderful and so is Bunny the rabbit. It seems so very quiet at the beginning of the week. Now that some of the schools are back in session, the kids are back in learning mode, our really busy season is coming to a close. The weekends are still busy, which is nice. This gives us a chance to do some maintenance and for me to spend some much needed time with my own dogs.
This afternoon, I strolled up to the garden with Studdy and picked some new cucumbers to pickle. This is the second crop and we are hopeful to be able to make more hot pickles. It is almost time to harvest the sweet potatoes. Studdy, dug up a plant today and well one potato weighted 3.13 lbs. I think the mushroom soil and horse manure really worked. Those are really big!
