TGIF… I think.. Friday’s are always really crazy this time of year. A GOOD kind of crazy.
This morning Keira the Great Dane, Mattie the Rat Terrier and TJ the Boxer went home. We welcomed back Cooper the Welsh Pembroke Corgi and Carly the English Springer Mix. As you can see Bob is already showing newcomer Carly some love.
I have been outside all morning and afternoon. Besides taking care of the dogs there are other things on the farm that I needed to tend to and I was able to get some of those done.
I am now off to return telephone calls and feed dogs, Have a great weekend.

Good evening. It was a beautiful spring day. The sun was out and it was warm, what more could you ask for.
I had Keira out in the play yard, we had a great time playing and then just sitting under the trees. It was a very enjoyable time. Tomorrow Cooper returns and then we get to meet Carly, a English Springer mix. Look for photos.
It’s shower time for me and time to chill so to speak. enjoy the night. More tomorrow….

Good afternoon everyone. The rain has stopped, yeahhh. Okay, I’m happy but now things really need to dry out. Besides the grass growing and looking awful, the weeds have gone giant on me overnight. The rains certainly pushed the weeds to grow, and grow…. big, ugly and fast. Can you tell I am not a huge weed fan. So pardon the appearance of the play yard, tomorrow I will try and mow if it dries out.
Keira was pleased as punch to finally get out and really run. It was short lived, she did a few laps of hard running, then I tossed the tire for her but there was no real interest. The large tennis ball was much more fun. She tired easily and I think she just really wanted to stretch out on the wet grass. After about forty minutes she went to the gate and I knew she had enough.
Mattie, on the other hand just wants to sit here with me and cuddle. I have to ask her mom about those long nails. When she hugs you, you know it. Her begging is also so cute. Bob, loves just holding her. Talk about some little canine being spoiled… Mattie

I want to finally share my new website for my photography Hound Hollow Photography
I’d like to say something about it. I was reminded the other day by my dear friend Kathy… that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, a known proverb. I don’t want to imitate anyone but I will say I want to be inspired by others and their work. We all snap the shutter button for a reason, mine is to capture that moment that will last a lifetime.
I would like to thank the people that have inspired me to continue photographing. Thank you Andy for advising me as you have, answering all the questions I posed to you about cameras, photography, and lastly because you said to me, take your time and enjoy the pictures you take. Next Anna, who said why don’t you make a website for your pictures. Anna, you have always supported me in whatever I try and do. I couldn’t have asked for nicer websites, thank you my long time friend. My husband Bob who said, I will get you the equipment you need so you can take better photos. He hated seeing me constantly using the only camera I had for many years, a point and shoot.
With this said, know I will do my best to keep the camera shutter snapping, taking both candid photos and of course my session work. I adore posting the pictures of the dogs vacationing with us. So if I seem inspired, it’s true I am. I am seeing the world a whole different way through the lens of a camera.

Happy Mother’s Day out there to all the moms.. people, dogs, cats, horses whatever. I hope you all have a great day.

Happy Friday everyone. The weather is great, the dogs have been itching to get out and play. Today we feature Miss Molly, the Corgi Mix. I think Molly must have been a girly pig in her past life or maybe a female alligator because all she does is roll and roll. Don’t try and stop her either because she’ll then pick another spot that maybe wasn’t as “clean” as her previous spot. I just let her go. I placed her on my chair thinking maybe I’d get a cute photograph but you can see she is disgusted with me, just look at that look.
Anyway, lunchtime has arrived which means cookie time here. On that note I’ll leave you for now. Have a great day… the sun is out, enjoy!

Hey everyone, it’s finally a dry day. Since there are so many dogs here at the moment, I am not going to feature them all everyday. I will pick one or two and feature them, so bear with me. Today, we have Keira the Great Dane and Cooper the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The other dogs will get out as soon as I head back into the kennel. Brownie decided to tinkle on me, clean jeans were a must. I decided to quickly psot some photos.
I want to remind everyone the summer weekends are filling quickly. Please, make sure you have reserved you dogs summer reservations.

Good morning everyone. It’s wet outside, the grass is soaked. I decided in spite of it to let both Brownie and Minnie Pearl out to play. Brownie had no issues because he’s been here before and knows the routine. Minnie stood outside in the grass. sniffed around then let loose and played. She did a lot of yawning out there too. Molly arrived but since things are so wet and she is a roller, I left her inside until later. Hopefully things will dry off.
Later this afternoon Cooper the Pembroke Welsh Corgi returns along with Mattie the Rat Terrier and Kiera the Great Dane. I look forward to spending time with all of them.

It was another wet, soggy day. Brownie and I spent time inside playing. He had fun chasing his carrot toy until he found this huge bone and decided to tackle it.
We welcomed in Miss Minnie Pearl today. She’s another little, adorable Shih Tzu. Hopefully, tomorrow if it’s nice I can snap some photos.
