Sunday morning and the rain is coming down in bucketfuls. Bob and I went out to the kennel early this morning. He helped me clean up and carried water buckets for me. He also was nice enough to clean the fresh air machine for me. The dogs are all fine, Bunny the rabbit is fine as well.
Bob picked corn yesterday, some was good, some over done already. I made a batch of Southwestern corn and I am just waiting for it to cool so I can vacuum seal it in freezer bags.
Today is a good day for a short nap, which I may just take after I finish mopping the kitchen floor. I’m off once again, have a nice day.

Good Saturday morning all. Wow what a great day so far. The temps are awesome, there is a nice breeze and all my kennel work is complete for now.
This morning the Schuka Labs went home. Before they left they had a nice run in the play yard with their family. I think the idea was to wear them out for the ride home. I believe it worked. I am expecting Dakota shortly.
I am not sure of our plans for the rest of the day. I know we need to pick the Silver Queen corn and get that in the freezer. We’ll see.
I am off to do some much needed people laundry for a change. Have a wonderful day!

Happy Friday to all of you. It was a beautiful day, full of sunshine and the temps were actually not that bad.
This morning I got all the dogs fed early, their runs cleaned both inside and out, buckets changed, and set up for arriving campers. Maxie arrived late this morning and she is nice and settled in. Shelby and Pinky also arrived and are learning how things go here. Tomorrow we welcome back Dakota.
I got some sad news today one of our campers passed over the Rainbow Bridge. Bob and I send condolences out to the Jackson Family on the loss of Brownie. RIP Brownie run free…
This afternoon Studdy and I were busy once again making salsa. I am so over tomatoes it isn’t funny. Tomorrow, I think we’ll be putting up sweet corn.
I am heading out shortly to let Sully out and give everyone their goodnight kisses and biscuits. Have a great day tomorrow.

Good morning, wooohoo sunshine yessss finally. What a great few days it is suppose to be. I for one am looking forward to anything, other then rain and humidity.
The dogs were all fed, floors swept and water buckets cleaned and refilled. As you can see from the above photo Sully arrived bright and early ready to come back to camp. He is Bob’s buddy and I am sure you will see more photos of him in the days to come. The Schuka Lab Gang are well. This morning as I was filling Raven’s water bucket she immediately had both front feet in the bucket.. uggg Labs and water what can I say.
Riley is leaving us so I must go get her ready to go home.
Bunny, the rabbit is so funny. She knows when she is going to get a treat and stands up on her hind legs waiting, talk about adorable.
That’s it from here. I did take some photos and will upload them later today. See you.

Morning everyone, it looks like we might get some more rain today. It is very cloudy and just feels like it could rain.
The dogs all had breakfast, runs cleaned etc. Chance was barking at me this morning waiting for me to put his bowl down. I thought the photo was appropriate. It seems much quieter since all the German Shepherds went home, they can be very loud barkers.
Bunny, the rabbit is fine. I think her name should have been Miss Piggy because she is always looking for me to give her something to eat. She sits up on her rear and just looks at me.
I am off to get things done, have a great Wednesday.

Morning all, the sun is shining finally after all that humidity and rain yesterday and last night. We had one heck of a storm roll through last evening.
I’ve already been out to the kennel and fed all the dogs left here which isn’t many, pressured washed, swept the floors and did the buckets. Yesterday for some odd reason Rocco and Raven decided it was play in the water bucket day so their buckets have been moved to outside but they are given bowls of water inside with their meals. All I know is that I refilled their buckets and it became a instant water park… lol. This morning when I filled the buckets outside, the same thing happen, feet in their buckets. Chance is behaving so his bucket is still inside. You got to love those Labs. Tanner, is going home shortly. He’s been a good guy this stay, he even has taken biscuits from me which he normally won’t do.
Bunny, the rabbit is hesterical, she is so curious. Yesterday while I was scooping her litter pan she tried to jump out of the pen I set up for her. She wants to be into everything.
That’s it from here, have a great day.
PS- Knee results are in.. I need to have cocks comb injections( I’ll be cock a doodle doodling) and I’ll be getting a knee brace for awhile. No PT now because there is fluid behind my kneecap. Call if you want the full story. See ya…..

Morning all, well the rain continues and will on and off all throughout the day and week if I heard correctly. The rain puts a damper on many things sadly.
The dogs and rabbit all had breakfast, runs scooped and pressure washed and inside runs swept. It humid so things seem so damp. I plan on spending time with each dog once I get home from the doctor. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.
In any rate I need to head back out to the kennel because Spanky and Scruffy are leaving this morning. Have a great week and remember an umbrella.

Good morning everyone, sorry I never posted yesterday. it seems I get involved with projects and time just slips away. It’s raining so love, hugs and of course extra cookies will be given today.
Yesterday the Green gang left us and Bob and I together cleaned and disenfected the kennel runs. It’s nice having Bob around to lift those heavy mats. He also helped me with the water buckets which is more difficult carrying with a bum knee. All the dogs are fine and happy. I really need to update and take more photos.
Bunny the Rabbit arrived Friday, I will get photos of her as well. We moved her into a large puppy pen so she would have more room and I think she really is enjoying that. She actually took her kale and a carrot from me last night at dinner. She’s a delightful little rabbit, very friendly.
Well I am off to get the day started. I just wanted to post so you would know all is well here. Have a great Sunday.
Friday August 13, 2010
Good morning everyone, sorry there was no post yesterday. Our Internet was down early in the morning and later in the day I got busy and simply forgot to post.
It is a soggy start to the day. The weather is suppose to clear but right now it’s a mess. The dogs are all great. Yesterday, I spent time with those dogs that wanted my hugs.
Since it rained, well pored all day the dogs were fairly quiet with was nice because they got a chance to really really rest. On nice days they are so busy going in and out.
That’s it from here, I am waiting for Riley, Champ and Oscar to arrive and later today we are getting a rabbit in to board. I’ll get photos for sure.
Have a great weekend.

(Unedited photos)
Morning all, it is a very muggy start to the day. I was out to the dogs early this morning because with all the barking I just could not sleep. We had three new canine campers Chance, Raven and Rocco arrive yesterday at dinner time and they aren’t quite settled in yet. They barked quite a bit last night, it was on and off barking. This morning however after breakfast, which they gobbled down they all got quiet.
I have to go pick up dog food this morning. Bob and Studdy will be here holding down the fort, as they say. Later this afternoon Cooper another Welsh Pembroke Corgi will be arriving. What are the odds two Corgis here at the same time. That breed is getting very popular.
I’m off to grab a much needed cup of coffee, catch ya later. Just a note, in the photos Percy has a drag line on because I can not catch him. I’m unable to chase him with my bad knee, the drag line gives me some advantage. See ya.
