The heavy rains have stopped but now the winds are stirring and it feels very cold outside compared to the past few days. I can hear the winds chimes outside as I am typing.
Mico, the yellow Labrador Retriever arrived yesterday just as it started to really rain so I didn’t take any photos. This morning first thing I wanted to get the dogs out early it case it really gets colder or windier where branches start to fly.
I hope you like the photos. I am trying new settings and colors.
Enjoy your day.

The morning started off being damp and cloudy, you just could feel the rain was on the way. I grabbed the camera and got the dogs out to play, knowing it might be my last chance for the day. As you can see they had a good time. Jolly explored the play yard, Cooper and Kylie who are used to being out there, had a blast. Both photos captured were after they had worn themselves out with that silly blue squeaky toy.
Rain is now falling at lunch time the dogs had cookies, some had ear scratches, belly rubs or butt rubs. No matter what way they enjoyed.
Kylie and Jolly leave us later this afternoon, I’ll miss them both.
Have a great rest of the day, stay dry.

Mr. Fox.. living in the woods surrounding the property. He was caught on camera once again!
Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your holiday regardless of what your were celebrating.
It was a busy day today with dogs arriving first thing this morning, then dogs going home this afternoon. Bob and I tackled the cleaning of the Guinea Pig cages this morning as well. They are just the most adorable creatures. They purr and squeak to each other. It is very charming to sit and listen to.
For those making last minute plans for New Year’s… we still have availability for your pets.
Have a safe night and I’ll post again soon.

Good morning. I got a telephone very early this morning, from our friend Greg who said his little Dinky was in distress. Greg, has been having some sight issues so he’s been unable to see or drive. Bob quickly ran over their since I had the kennel to tend to. Sadly, the outcome wasn’t good. Dinky was peacefully put to rest. My condolences and heart is with Greg at this very difficult time. Run free Dinky, don’t chase too many cats!
On the brighter side of things it is Christmas. I’ve hugged all the dogs, gave the piggies both their birthday and Christmas gifts from their momma.
Bob & I are going to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee together.
Please try and have a great day. Be safe and we’ll see you soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday

It’s been a crazy 24 hours. The primary heat source in the kennel stopped working. We had the repair company out for 4 hours last evening trying to fix it. With no luck, we turned on our secondary heat source. Once the problem was diagnosed, the gentleman left for the evening. Bob got in touch with my brother at Goodman and he picked the part up. We are now in wait mode for the technician to return and install the new part. In the meantime, it is really warm in the kennel with two external heaters going, no worries there.
It is wet and muddy from last evening downpour so I decided to let the dogs out into the catch pen area.
With that said, I am off to get some laundry completed.
Bob & I would like to wish all of our family, friends & clients a very happy holiday season.
Something to make you SMILE

Good morning, it is with great sadness we tell you we lost our little Cockateil Precious. I woke this morning and G-d had already taken her. He mate has been calling for her all morning, I just hope he will be ok without her. I feel so bad for him. I know she is flying free now with her clutch mate Cinnamon. RIP sweet Precious.
Now to the dogs and our new kennel guests… the three Guinea Pig, Linus, Noelle, and Joseph. They are just too cute. I tried my best to snap some photos but they are still pretty nervous about being in a new environment. Once they really settle in, I will try to take more photos.
Kylie arrives as she usually does, she drags her owners in the door, then runs right into the kennel as she know exactly where her kennel run is.
I hope my family and friends who celebrate Chanukah are enjoying this festival of lights.
That’s it from here. Be well.

(2:31 PM)

I just wanted everyone to know that I posted photos on Facebook this morning from my other computer in the kennel. I tried to nab them but Facebook is having issues right now. I will post them as soon as I am able to.
It’s really cold outside and both Bucky and Murphy(the Greyhounds I adore so much) wanted to go right back inside. Champ the Labrador Retriever, however wanted to chase one of the cats that was right on the other side of the fence. It was so funny watching him run up and back trying to figure out where exactly the cat was. After about ten minutes I was so cold we came back inside.
Hanukkah begins tomorrow at sunset. I’d like to wish all my friends and family celebrating this Festival of Lights a very Happy Hanukkah.
More later….. stay warm!
