It’s another brisk morning and I understand rain is in the future. I am not sure what I can get accomplished today in the way of painting. I believe it will be too cold outside to paint.
Little Priscilla has an appointment to be spayed finally in December. She has to be at least 3 lbs. and she’s a little one. Not having a camera at times stinks.

Evening
It was a breezy day out today. I locked the dogs out late this morning, dumped the water buckets and started to paint. I would have gotten the entire inside done but to be honest the paint was getting to me. With the additional fans going and the doors open it still bothered me. After about an hour, fresh water buckets back in the dogs runs I let the dogs back in. Once that was done I had three runs outside to complete on the one side, which is now done. Just one more side to go. Hopefully we’ll have a warm day and I can get it all finished.

Good morning, it is very cold outside compared to what we are all used to. I think Mother Nature is giving us a taste of reality.
The dogs all enjoyed their warm breakfast this morning. I can tell they get all happy. Penelope, my oldest Border Terrier makes me laugh. She eats her food, runs outside quickly, does her business and heads back in just as fast as her legs will take her. She hates the cold where as the other Border Terriers don’t seem to really mind. This is a picture of Penelope in her prime.
I am not sure if I’ll be able to paint today due to the cold temps.

Bedtime
I am heading out to the kennel early tonight. It is cooler tonight and I want to make sure all the dogs are toasty and comfy.
I only got 3 runs painted today because of the wind. I hope tomorrow weather providing to get some more painting done outside.

Good morning. It’s cooler outside this morning then I thought it would be. All the dogs were up and very chipper and excited this day. They have warm, filled bellies and are now happy.
We started winter maintenance repairs in the kennel and this afternoon once it warms up I will go out and do some more painting.

Good afternoon. Bob and I have been running around all morning. We needed to pick up a few items for the kennel so we could do our winter maintenance.
The dogs are all great, barking at us both as we were working.
I really have little report today. I’ll check in later or tomorrow morning.

It’s a very rainy morning here what’s new it seems to always rain. I slept in a little later this morning as the dogs were quiet and there was no need to get up at 5:30 AM.
I fed all the dogs breakfast and cleaned the kennel.
I have laundry in and am going to sit and have another cup of coffee before I finished up my housework that didn’t get done yesterday.

Evening
I just came in from the kennel. All the dogs had a hot meal and are content now. The kennel is all clean and they are quiet for the moment. I will of course go out later tonight and give biscuits and my hugs.
I don’t have much to report. It will be a quiet weekend. Until later..

I had some computer issues last evening with this computer. It’s old, worn and has hissy fits from time to time. In any rate it is working at the moment.
I am off to care for Peppercorn and then I have lots to do around the house today, laundry, dusting etc… then out to the kennel to clean.

Morning everyone. It is still spritzing out and it doesn’t look like it is going to be a very pretty day.
The dogs all had their breakfast and they were out. We welcomed back Oreo the Yorkshire Terrier. He will be staying with us for a few weeks. I’ll have fun spoiling him, he’s a really sweet little dog that loves to give you kisses.
The apple filling came out wonderful and I can’t wait for Bob to try it on some vanilla ice cream or in a pie. I saw him sneak some and added half and half and tried it. It must have been yummy, he finished every bit of it.
I’ll be caring for Peppercorn the Bernese Mountain Dog, for my neighbor the next few days. She is up there in age and it is sometimes very difficult for her to get around.

Evening
I am posting now because Bob and I are going to get busy making apple filling tonight and if time permits applesauce and apple butter.
I will lock the dogs up later tonight and hug them and give biscuits as I do each night.

Good morning everyone. History was made yesterday in the USA. We have our first African American President elect. Regardless of how you voted, the outcome was historic.
It’s another rainy day here in the valley(what a surprise). The dogs were up barking at something this morning. I never know what stirs them.
Tonight I believe Bob and I will be making another batch of applesauce, apple butter and apple filling that you use on ice cream or in a pie.
The two strays cats have been coming almost daily to eat. I hope to trap them both in the next week. The calico has been eating in the trap already with the trapped door tied up. This allows them to become familiar with the trap and go in them without fear, and eat. I will keep you updated on them both.
I am off to grab another cup of coffee.

Good morning. I am running a little later this morning but popped on to say GO VOTE. I over slept which is very rare.
The dogs all had a toasty breakfast and were out barking at this cat behind the kennel.

Evening
Hi everyone.I am posting now because lately(maybe it is the time change) I am very tired in the evening. Wait…. didn’t I GAIN and hour’s sleep. Anyway, I’ve been really beat and just want to come in from the kennelafter lock up and crawl into bed.
Tomorrow is Election Day and I will go and vote sometime in the early afternoon.
My dryer just buzzed which means the clothes need to be folded. Have a great night if I don’t get back.

Good morning, it is misting outside. I am not sure what the weather report says but it feels just like someone sprayed you with a water mist bottle.
I woke the dogs this morning, I think the time change has them a bit confused(me too!).
I am back to the work week so things will hopefully get back to normal, if there is a normal.
I have to feed the cats, Priscilla is letting me know she would like her breakfast. She is living full time in with the older cats and loving it. Lacylou tends to be the one she plays with most. After dinner all hell breaks loose as I let all the cats out and all 6 run about. I can not trust them alone in the house with the birds if we are not around.
