Evening Update 11:09 PM
I just came in from the kennel. About a mile from the house there was a huge party going on and I gather they hired someone to set off bigtime fireworks. I was able to see them from the porch. I spent the last hour in the kennel reassuring those dogs who didn’t care for them. I sat with little Bonnie Jean in my lap until they stopped. I could just tell she needed someone to hold her, and I did. The noise stopped so I took Sully for his nightly walk. gave biscuits and hugs and said my goodnights.
I am off to bed myself very shortly. It was a busy day today and tonight I met friends for dinner which was great. Now it is time to turn in. I hope you all have a great night. Until tomorrow….

What a day,I hate to admit it but the day has just flown by. I have been so busy. I got everything I wanted to get done in the show kennel and got almost all the dogs out in the yard. We had two new campers come in this morning. We welcome Dakota the Lhasa Poo and Ava the German Shepherd Dog. I didn’t get the two new campers out today because they are just getting used to their kennel run areas being new to the boarding scene. Both need to settle in first. I am featuring the small dogs in my slideshow. Today, since Bob mowed ALL the dogs are doing nothing but sniffing.Taking pictures of dogs sniffing isn’t so exciting but it was the best I could do under the circumstances.
Thanks to Amanda Cooper for dropping off Otis’s ear medication. Let’s hope it helps!
I am off to drink a cup of coffee. I’ll post later.
Good Morning, finally I woke up to the sun shining. I’ve already been out to the kennel, fed the dogs and cleaned the runs. I am waiting for Lady’s mom to come pick her up, then we have a few new campers arriving this morning. I will post photographs later today. My plans today are to head up to the show kennel and do some work up there and then start getting all the dogs out into the exercise yard on this beautiful day.
I’ll catch you all later today. Enjoy the sunshine!
