Evening

Hi all, just came in from feeding all the animals and even finished making a quickie dinner that Bob wanted. The rain poured down at times today and other times the skies looked as if they would clear.
Late this morning Bob and I went apple picking. Yes, in the rain. I wanted to pick the apples going into the applesause, apple butter and whatever else I decide to make. When we first started out into the orchard it was misting by the time we got finished it was raining. We headed home apples and cider in hand. I was soaked and said on the way home you know I could use a pair of waterproof shoes for the kennel. I am tired of wet feet. We came home and changed clothing and shoes, rested awhile then headed to Cabela’s which was jammed. It was like they were giving stuff away in there. I found a pair of Gortex hikers sort of that felt comfy so I got those. Bob also got 2 pairs. Hopefully my feet will now stay dry.
The dogs are all fed and bedded in for now, until I go out later tonight.
I’ll report in then, unless I start watching tv and forget to. Have a great night if I don’t get back on.

Morning all.. I would say good however it is raining again and I am so sick of rain on the weekends, grrrrrrr(mumbling under my breath). It seems whenever there is something I could be doing outside, it rains. The dogs need to get out and play in the exercise yard and well rain rain rain. Ok I am done ranting now.
Today we celebrate the “Princess” Birdie’s(Bob’s Whippet) 15th birthday. Happy Birthday to Camille & Pepper her litter sisters also, owned by Fyrefly Whippets. Her “royalness” Birdie had extra cookies this morning and will get some special treats later today.

I am heading back out to the kennel to pressure wash. I am not sure why nothing dries in this damp weather . OHHHHH I did say I would stop ranting. Have a great Sunday all. I’ll report in later.
